Welcome!

The intent of this Blog is to give you an inside look at the everyday life of a flight attendant traveling the country everyday. Everyday I encounter people who are captivated by the lifestyle of people that work for the airlines. They all have the same questions like... "So do you just fly back and forth between Tampa and Kansas City all day?" or "Is San Jose your base?". I have realized that there are so many people that have the same common misconceptions as to how people that work for the major commercial airliners live their life.

In movies our occupation is made out to be a glamorous and carefree life of travel. On the contrary, being a part of a flight crew can present its many challenges. These challenges range from dealing with unruly passengers to being away from your friends and family all the time.

I would be lying though if I did not tell you that this career choice comes with its many perks. Some of the great things I have been able to do over that past 5 years since I started flying have been amazing! With unlimited travel benefits on not just my airline, but most of the major carriers, the world becomes a much smaller place. I now have access to travel to anywhere in the world for "peanuts". No pun intended! Sorry....stupid airline joke with the "peanuts".

As I write this Blog I will be telling stories of daily life on the plane. You will be in awe when you hear about the crazy passengers that pack everything they own except for their brains when they travel! I will post amazing pictures of the gorgeous views from my office at 30,000 ft. You will learn about the wild nights in the hotels across America as well as the many lonely nights one can have as well. I will do my best to make you feel like you were there and a part of the crew! I hope you enjoy!!!
